Pick From Among These Best Beaches In Greece
According to one travel site, there are at least 19 different beaches in Greece. While all of them are likely great vacation destinations, it would help if you knew which ones were the most popular. Plus, you want a beach that matches the types of activities you want to enjoy. You can always visit more than one beach, too. Have you been to Greece before?
I mentioned Elafonissi Beach in another article, and on multiple sites, it’s listed as one of the best or most popular beaches in Greece. There are hotels nearby if you’re looking to book a stay instead of just travelling there for the day. One reviewer talks about taking a boat to a nearby town. Each beach will provide a different type of experience, so it’s interesting reading about what you’ll get to do when you visit the best beaches in Greece.
Mylopotas Beach looks just as lovely. However, it should be noted that this beach is known for its quick drop off as you enter the surf. If you’re there to swim and comfortable with this type of beach, then this could be one of your stops. Of course, you might want to know where you can go snorkelling or maybe the beach where everyone is going to be hanging out and partying. Or, maybe surfing is your thing. One great place in general where you can visit more than one nice beach is Santorini. Specifically, you might want to visit Perissa Beach and Red Beach.
You need to actually see the pictures of the beaches in Santorini because you’ll hear about other white and pink sand beaches and may not think you want to visit these beaches. While they may not have white or pink sand, the beaches in Santorini are quite lovely indeed, with unique landscapes. Then there is Plako Beach in Naxos and Logaras Beach in Paros. Paradise Beach is another good one, and just its name makes it sound like the place to be.
Based on the pictures alone, my favourite pick is the next one I’m going to introduce to you, which is Mytros Beach in Kefalonia. Although, Stafylo Beach in Skopelos looks like a close second. Many of the top beaches have been mentioned, so now you can find out which ones you want to visit while you’re in Greece. Two more top picks are Matala Beach and Shipwreck Beach, which sounds very unique and looks about as beautiful as the Caribbean.…
